1. PROTEIN ARE ONLY FOR MUSCLE DEVELOPMENT

Availability of amino acids in protein we think that its only for muscle development, but amino is not only for muscle development buts also for the strength of bone, Joint, ligament, hair. And it also improves the immune system and controls the LDL and HDL cholesterol.

2. EATING TOO MUCH PROTIEN EFFECT LIVER OR KIDNEY

Eating too much protein can harm the kidneys if you have underlying with some kind of Kidney of liver diseases, but healthy kidneys are very good at expelling the extra nitrogen and come with meat, eggs, and lentils. You have to take some calcium if you eat excessive protein because some research suggests that it is possible to intake excessive protein cause to pee more calcium out. Right now research is going on but we are not confirming that.

3. YOU CAN’T GET ENOUGH PROTIEN ON A PLANT BASED DIET

Totally wrong! But most of the plant food or vegan food does not contain the same quantity of Protein as compare to Animal Protein, and may not contain all the essential Amino acids. For a proper balanced plant-based diet we should have to optimize.  You should not eat only rice or lentils but the combination of both makes so great food.

The Dietary allowance recommends 0.4 gram per pound of bodyweight,  so the 150-pound person would daily need 60 gm which is easily achievable after eating chicken breast and yogurt/Curd. But In a Country likes India where they support vegan food due to religious cultures it is possible to eat non- veg on a daily basis. In that case, they have to find an alternate solution for protein. And Protein supplement is the best option. But you should have taken Expert advice before taking protein supplements.

5. PROTEIN IS BAD IN SMALL SOURCES

Many of the Dieticians and our ancestors told that excessive consumption of Red meat is bad for health. While it is fine to eat red meat but you also consider chicken and fish as well because they can provide other vitamins and low saturated fat and also omega 3 fatty acids also. You should diversify the protein from different sources such as soya product, peas and bean, and combination of Dal and rice.
